Top-3 teams and players on the LIV Golf standings

The final decision of the best team for LIV Golf 2024 is yet to be decided. The season finale will be hosted at the Maridoe Golf Club from September 20 to September 22. All thirteen teams will be headed to have a banger head-to-head competition for the Team Championship trophy. And not to forget, the purse is the highest accounting for a whopping $50 million.

Well, the decision will be made after the Player of the Year is decided at the Individual Championship in just a few weeks. After 12 successful tournaments all around the world, the standings have been pretty much updated and this shall remain the same until the ultimate winner is decided. Here is what the ranking stand looks like before the LIV Golf players head to Dallas to grab the win with their team members:

1. Crushers GC

The Crushers GC is led by captain Bryson DeChambeau, who has been on top of the most-earned players for the 2024 season. Along with him, the other three members are Paul Casey, Charles Howell III, and Anirban Lahiri. The team finished at the eighth position at Greenbrier, the last event of the breakaway league before the two finale. With eight top-5 finishes that include their victories at Jeddah and Hong Kong, the team is boasting a whopping 176.50 points, bagging the first position on the team list.

2. Legion XIII 

This team is led by the Spaniard Jon Rahm, along with Tyrrell Hatton, Kieran Vincent, and Caleb Surratt. Although they are ranked second with just a point difference of 0.50 from the leading team (176), they have had double the victories as compared to the Crushers GC. Legion XII bagged the lead in Mayakoba, Miami, Nashville, and the UK. Well, even in the last event, they were positioned as the runner-ups.

3. Ripper GC

The Ripper GC has a comparatively greater difference than the first two teams. Ranked No. 3, they are at 151 points. It is led by captain Cameron Smith and has Marc Leishman, Lucas Herbert, and Matt Jones. The team has seven top-5 finishes which includes their wins at Adelaide and Singapore. At Greenbrier, they were the runner-ups.
