Keith Mitchell and Harris English Hit It Out at a Glow in the Dark Range for the Finale of Their Friendly Golf Challenge

PGA Tour players Keith Mitchell and Harris English took part in a one-of-a-kind glow-in-the-dark golf challenge, sponsored by BMW. The competition involved hitting golf shots to strike three glowing targets set at varying distances.

The neon-lit setup added a fun and visually captivating twist to the challenge, showcasing the players’ skills in a unique and entertaining format. As the two golfers aimed for precision in the dark, the event provided an exciting mix of competition and creativity, offering fans a fresh take on the sport amid all the rift.

The official X account of the PGA Tour recently took to its wall a few hours ago and posted snippets from the match. It had already managed to garner more than 39000 views on the video in less than an hour. That was how rapidly the exciting and unique challenge format spread on the Internet.

“It all comes down to this @K_M_Mitchell and @Harris_English are on the glow in the dark range for the finale of their friendly Late Night Golf challenge,” they captioned. Here is all you need to know about the challenge.

What is the format of the challenge?

To pursue the challenge, Keith Mitchell and Harris English were asked to hit three targets from/h different yards. One was 55 yards, the second was 85 yards, and the last was a whopping 125 yards long shot. All the targets very intriguingly lit up in the dark due to the neon lights.

They even changed their color the moment the ball would hit them directly without making any pit stops. Additionally, if the ball hits the target after rolling all across the course, which is mostly the case, the shot becomes invalid. That is how short and difficult the challenge was.

Harris English was the first to hit the 55-yard target with only his second shot, although Mitchell imitated him soon after. He was again the first to hit the 85-yard target.

Keith Mitchell too on the other side put up a great fight. He hit the second target before Harris English hit the third. However, the latter managed to hit the longest target and win the challenge. What do you think about the newly invented exciting challenge? Let us know in the comments section
