The Procore Championship began on September 12 at the Silverado Resort. Although it did not have the top players like Scottie Scheffler, Xander Schauffele, or Rory McIlroy, it did manage to put up an amazing fight and keep the audience captivated.
Three rounds have successfully concluded at the PGA Tour event, and the final round too is all set to kickstart in just a few more hours, declaring the ultimate winner of the tournament as it concludes. Here’s how the top 3 positions of the leaderboard look ahead of the Sunday round.
Patton Kizzire is enjoying a four-stroke lead
The American Pro golfer Patton Kizzire went completely bogey-free on the front nine carding a 3-under 32. However, he did end up making a bogey on the tenth hole but went back to his momentum closing the round with three more birdies. With 67 score on Sunday, he is currently at 18-under.
David Lipsky too went bogey-free on the front nine and had pretty much the same score as Kizzire’s initial round. However, at the back nine, he ended up carding two bogeys, and only one birdie to compensate. This brought down his aggregate to 14-under, and he was left four strokes behind the leader on Saturday.
Following them are Mackenzie Hughes, Grayson Sigg, Corey Conners, and Patrick Fishburn, tied for the third position (13-under), one stroke away from Lipsky. Who do you think will take the final dibs on the trophy? Stay tuned to find out in just a few more hours!
