Nelly Korda, the No. 1 ranked golfer on the LPGA Tour, has found love off the green with NHL player Andreas Athanasiou. The two have been in a relationship since 2019, with Andreas playing as a center for the Chicago Blackhawks.
While the couple prefers to keep their personal lives relatively private, they’ve occasionally shared glimpses of their relationship with fans over the years. Their low-key yet meaningful connection has sparked interest among fans, with many admiring their supportive partnership both on and off their respective fields.

The Pro NHL player has been playing ice hockey since a very young age and he started playing professionally in 2014. He plays from the center. Born in Ontario, Canada, he plays from his home country. There has not been much revealed about the couple as they like to keep it private.
It is not yet known where and how the couple met, but back in 2019 Thanksgiving, Nelly Korda posted a selfie of the two, which was instantly deleted, just a few hours later. Nonetheless, the two have been the strongest support pillars for each of their professional careers.
According to People, “In July 2022, Athanasiou signed a one-year, $3 million contract with the Chicago Blackhawks. The following month, while competing at the Canadian Women’s Open with her boyfriend in attendance, Korda gave a nod of support to Athanasiou’s new team.”

She wore his team’s jersey without a number or a name walking in the green. And not to forget how Athanasiou manages to attend every event of Nelly Korda. “It’s fun to be a part of. She played so well,” Athanasiou told reporters after her win at the LPGA Meijer Classic in 2021, which was Korda’s first with him in attendance. “It’s exciting, I mean watching is different than playing. … I’m so happy for her.”
